Waterford Public Schools is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Elementary Teacher at Great Neck Elementary School effective for the 2026-27 school year. The bilingual elementary teacher will provide instruction in both English and Spanish to develop students' bilingualism, biliteracy, and cultural competence while meeting grade-level academic standards. This position plays a critical role in our dual language immersion program, supporting students in becoming proficient in two languages to achieve academic success. Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. State of Connecticut endorsement (902) Elementary Bilingual Pre-K-8 and (009) Bilingual PK-12 Bilingual certified candidates, who hold a TESOL endorsement also encouraged to apply. Wage is in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
