Bilingual Reach Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse distribution and materials handling, demonstrating proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the facility, contributing to our overall operational success.

Duties Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload materials. Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners and adhere to shipping and receiving protocols. Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Assist in the organization of warehouse space, ensuring optimal layout for efficient operations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline processes and improve productivity. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Support other warehouse functions as needed, including construction projects or additional materials handling duties. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving and order picking. Familiarity with various equipment such as clamp trucks, cranes, and order pickers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting is advantageous but not required.
