  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Hematology and Oncology Infusion Clinic.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling, and providing exceptional patient service. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in computerized scheduling systems, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage patient appointments for the clinic, ensuring optimal scheduling to maximize efficiency. Utilize computerized scheduling systems to input, update, and maintain patient records accurately. Answer phone calls professionally and assist patients with inquiries regarding appointments, treatment plans, and clinic services. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and appointment changes. Assist in the development of care plans by gathering necessary information from patients and healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and organized front office environment that reflects the professionalism of the clinic. Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive experience for all patients. Familiarity with ICD-10 codes is preferred to assist in accurate record keeping. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus. Previous experience in a hematology/oncology or clinical medical office setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in using phone systems and computerized scheduling software is essential. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
