Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a significant impact as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive K-12 school environment near Avondale, AZ. This full-time contract role is tailored for dedicated professionals passionate about providing essential speech and language services to students from diverse backgrounds. The position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek throughout the school year, beginning August 6, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Bilingual proficiency and ability to deliver services in both English and another language Valid SLP licensure, ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Skilled in delivering comprehensive assessments, designing individualized plans, and implementing evidence-based therapy Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to K-12 students with a range of needs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and success Maintain timely and accurate records compliant with federal, state, and district guidelines Focus solely on therapy-related duties within contracted hours—no bus, lunch, or pickup duties required
