Bilingual Supply Chain Coordinator

M-F 8am - 4pm [onsite] Contract to Perm Olive Branch, MS Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services essential to our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or Oracle EBS. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing sourcing strategies, controlling costs, and maintaining seamless supply chain operations across diverse departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate purchasing activities by issuing purchase orders through ERP systems including

SAP, SAP ERP, JD

Edwards, or Oracle EBS Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts that align with company objectives Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with logistics teams to ensure optimal stock availability Support production planning and merchandising by sourcing materials efficiently and accurately Manage procurement documentation, including contracts and supply agreements Track order status, expedite shipments when necessary, and resolve supply discrepancies promptly Maintain comprehensive records of procurement transactions and supplier performance for continuous improvement Assist in implementing inventory control measures and supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by analyzing pricing trends and sourcing alternatives Support cross-functional teams in logistics coordination and supply chain management activities

Requirements:

Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles within manufacturing, retail, or related industries Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP (SAP ERP), JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or AS400 for materials management and procurement functions Strong knowledge of materials management, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), inventory management, and supply chain processes Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and logistics operations Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial supplier agreements Understanding of contracts, pricing strategies, production planning, and merchandising principles Ability to analyze data related to inventory control, procurement costs, and supply chain performance Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external vendors If you are committed to excellence in procurement operations and eager to contribute to a thriving organization's success, we encourage you to apply today.
