Bituminous/Concrete Saw Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bituminous/Concrete Saw Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized saws to cut through asphalt, concrete, and other hardscape materials with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of paving, demolition, restoration, and renovation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results safely and on schedule. Having a CDL is a plus. Must become member of Local 563 Laborers Union if not already. Pay will be based off level of Experience. Minorities and Women are encouraged to apply. Clean driving record required. Duties Operate heavy-duty bituminous and concrete saws to perform precise cuts for paving, demolition, or installation projects. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on saw equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of power tools, heavy equipment operation. Experience with blueprint reading, and understanding drawings. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for long shifts on construction sites. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations.
