Job Description
Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supporting a diverse group of students across multiple school sites in the Garland, TX area. This contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027, offering full-time hours and the chance to positively impact students and staff throughout the district. In this dynamic position, you'll work itinerantly, responding to the evolving needs of various campuses. Your expertise will support both general education and special education students, addressing behavioral disparities, while also empowering school staff through training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Desired Qualifications:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license in Texas Prior experience working in a school environment strongly preferred Comfortable supporting a variety of age groups and educational settings Skilled in providing staff development and RBT supervision Demonstrated ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to changing site assignments Must complete Texas Education Agency (TEA) fingerprinting (if not recently done for a public school district); clearance required before start dateKey Responsibilities:
Conduct behavior assessments and develop intervention plans for a diverse student caseload Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective implementation of behavior strategies Serve as a resource for staff training and professional development across campuses Supervise and mentor RBTs, ensuring high-quality behavioral support for students Travel to various schools within the district as needed, based on district priorities This on-site position offers the ability to contribute meaningful change and receive support from a network of dedicated professionals.
