Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, school-based environment as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting K-12 self-contained programs. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, where you'll collaborate closely with teachers across multiple campuses, all within easy reach of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. As a vital resource in the educational setting, you'll serve as an itinerant specialist providing expert consultation rather than direct student services. Your professional guidance will make a significant impact by equipping teachers with effective behavioral strategies, conducting observations, assisting with data collection, developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and modeling intervention methodologies. The role supports a full-time schedule of 35 hours weekly (7 hours per day), typically traveling between 5-7 school locations assigned by the district.
Ideal candidates possess:
Active BCBA licensure Experience or keen interest in working within K-12 educational settings Excellent communication and collaborative skills for teacher support Strong ability to develop and implement FBAs and assist with behavioral data collection Comfort with an itinerant caseload and adapting support across multiple schools Responsibilities include: Providing in-depth behavioral consultation and recommendations to teaching teams Supporting staff with observation, strategy modeling, and continuous feedback Facilitating data-driven practices and analysis Collaborating on the development and progress monitoring of behavioral support plans To comply with district policies, final candidates will complete fingerprinting requirements.
