Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity supporting students and staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position, located near Opp, AL, offers 20-25 hours per week, ideal for experienced professionals seeking a flexible schedule and meaningful engagement within the school community. As a BCBA, you'll collaborate closely with educational teams, sharing your expertise in developing targeted behavior intervention plans and elevating student success. Your supervision and guidance will be instrumental in training and supporting district behavior aides and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring the highest quality of behavioral support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students Conduct functional behavior assessments and collect data to guide supports Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and training for district behavior aides and RBTs Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals, families, and staff to promote positive student outcomes Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and school district policies
Qualifications:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience in a school setting preferred Strong skills in applied behavior analysis and behavior plan development Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to team-based problem-solving Ability to work independently with flexibility and professionalism This part-time contract allows you to make a significant difference while maintaining work-life balance.
