As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience at our café. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Clover POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of boba, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Perform basic math calculations for order totals and cash transactions. Skills Previous barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly environment for guests. Familiarity with Clover POS systems is a plus. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques in the food industry. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
