Body Shop Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Assess and inspect vehicles to determine the extent of damage and the cost of repairs
• Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates for customers
• Communicate with insurance companies to negotiate repair costs and obtain approval for repairs
• Order necessary parts and materials for repairs
• Coordinate with technicians and other staff to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of repair orders, estimates, and invoices

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Body Shop Estimator preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and procedures
• Proficient in using computer software for estimating repairs and managing customer information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license
