Job Title:

Shop Mechanic (Level I-II)

Job Summary:

Shop mechanic responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs on diesel, automotive, and farm equipment. This role ranges from entry-level service work to independent PMs and mid-level repairs, with increasing diagnostic responsibility based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance services on diesel, automotive, and farm equipment. Complete basic service tasks, inspections, and fluid changes. Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical issues using basic diagnostic tools. Replace hoses, fittings, pumps, valves, belts, filters, and related components. Assist with teardown, staging, cleaning, and reassembly of equipment and components. Identify visible leaks, failures, or safety concerns and report findings. Document work accurately and completely. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow all shop safety procedures and PPE standards. Support workflow and process improvements within the shop.
