Job Description:

Our client, a public accounting firm known for strong client service , is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Client Accounting Specialist to support a portfolio of individual and business clients. This is a hands?on, client?facing role ideal for someone who values accurate books, consistent processes, and ongoing client interaction. What You'll Do

• Maintain and clean up accounting records for individual and business clients
• Serve as a primary day?to?day contact for client accounting needs
• Record financial activity and perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
• Prepare journal entries and monthly/quarterly close activities
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and related reconciliations
• Process payroll, payroll filings, and annual 1099s
• Compile annual income and expense summaries
• Support clients with QuickBooks Online, integrations, and related accounting technology What We're Looking For
• 4+ years of bookkeeping or client accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Desktop a plus)
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
• Experience with sales tax, payroll, and reconciliations
• Understanding of cash? and accrual?basis accounting
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with strong attention to detail
