Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant /
Commercial and Residential Management Company Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role combines general administrative responsibilities with bookkeeping and financial tracking duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage general correspondence with tenant and vendors Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) Assist when needed with scheduling appointments, meetings, and manage calendars Assist with tenant/vendor communication and follow-ups Prepare letters, notices, and reports as needed Order office supplies and manage office inventory
Bookkeeping Duties:
Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledgers Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and send invoices; follow up on outstanding payments Track expenses and assist with budgeting Prepare reports for management and accountant Assist with tax preparation by organizing financial documents
Qualifications:
Prior experience in administrative support and/or bookkeeping Experience with accounting software (e.g., Buildium) Experience with Windows, Excel and Outlook Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping MUST be able to handle confidential information Strong communication skills Preferred (Optional): Experience in property management or real estate Assist with lease tracking, rent collection, and tenant accounts
Pay:
$25.30 - $28.00 per hour
