Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper (HR/AP/AR) to join our existing office team to help with all facets of bookkeeping and administrative support across multiple companies. This role includes responsibilities in human resources, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and reconciliation. The position also supports special projects, insurance preparation, foreign labor contract facilitation, and front office operations. This is a 40
  • hour per week position with occasional local travel for errands.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate records and information management for Human Resources Provide HR support and employee assistance Process weekly/biweekly payroll and manage payroll taxes Prepare quarterly and annual reports Facilitate foreign labor contracts related to HR Manage accounts payable and receivable for multiple companies Prepare and process invoices multiple companies Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies Support audits and provide documentation as needed Provide administrative and management support across departments Lead or assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects Perform bank reconciliations and generate financial reports Assist with insurance preparation and documentation Support sales desk operations and manage multi-line phone systems
Qualifications Education:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a combination of education and relevant experience
Experience:
3-5 years of progressively responsible bookkeeping and administrative/HR support experience Strong background in accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Experience with electronic records management and technology-driven process improvement Agriculture industry experience preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of document management systems and regulatory requirements Knowledge of general office procedures and customer service principles Expertise in HR and administrative processes Proficiency in accounts payable/receivable and database systems Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Compu-Tech preferred) Problem-solving mindset with the ability to improve processes Ability to work independently and collaboratively Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism Benefits Salary dependent on experience Flexible work schedule 401(k) with matching Health, dental, and life insurance Paid holidays, paid time off, and sick leave Professional development and growth opportunities Family-oriented, supportive, and enjoyable workplace How to Apply If you are an experienced bookkeeper with HR, AP, and AR expertise and are looking to make a meaningful impact in a family-oriented company, we encourage you to apply.
