Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role combines essential bookkeeping responsibilities with comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management. The ideal candidate will have experience in the nonprofit sector, and Quickbooks Online. He or she will bring organization, and communication skills to help us maintain efficiency and accuracy. This position offers a chance to grow your skills in office management, bookkeeping, and marketing within a supportive team environment. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online, including data entry, invoicing, expense tracking, payroll, bank reconciliations, deposits and printed materials for marketing. Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents, client records, and administrative files Support office management duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and overseeing general administrative tasks Provide clerical support including proofreading documents, and handling correspondence with attention to detail Preparing financial reports as needed Ensure efficient office operations by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks Qualifications Experience in bookkeeping, office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping tasks; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace is essential. Experience in graphic design, social media platforms and website management a plus Excellent computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly Experience with data entry, filing systems, proofreading, and calendar management Experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a plus Knowledge of office management best practices and time management techniques Join us in creating an organized, welcoming environment where your skills make a real difference!
