In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help us streamline our financial processes, support budgeting efforts, and provide clear financial reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse accounting software and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain detailed records of payroll, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms to record financial transactions and generate reports. Prepare financial reports by analyzing account data, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Support budgeting processes through account analysis and expense tracking to assist in financial planning. Skills Proficiency in accounting software. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, non-profit accounting practices, and governmental accounting standards. Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience with bank reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation procedures. Ability to perform detailed account analysis and prepare accurate financial reports.
