Bookkeeper/Teller

Farmers State Bank of Trimont is looking for a self-motivated, friendly, and responsible team player to fill a Teller / Bookkeeper position in both our Trimont and Dunnell offices. This position requires high-quality and friendly customer service, complete and accurate bookkeeping/data entry and reconciliation, and problem-solving. This job relies heavily on computer usage and requires general familiarity with computers & computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, along with using shared drives and internet-based applications. The successful candidate will be a quick learner and will provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via electronic communications. Teller functions include interacting with customers, opening & closing accounts, assisting customers with deposits and withdrawals, understanding and explaining our services, answering questions, understanding and explaining debit card rules and transactions, and assisting customers with safe deposit boxes. Additional responsibilities may be assigned. Bookkeeper functions include daily balancing, reconciling reports, imaging checks, entering data, maintaining accounts, approving transactions, and working with wire transfers. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
