The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. The Truck Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks, and may be involved in loading and unloading cargo. Responsibilities Safely operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on delivery status Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks Skills Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients Experience in warehouse operations is a plus Valid commercial driving license (CDL) required for operating commercial vehicles Proficient in driving box trucks and other delivery vehicles Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as necessary Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous Competence in using forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient loading/unloading operations Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency Join our team today as a Truck Driver where your skills will be valued, and you will play a crucial role in our operations!
