Job Description

Boys' Junior Varsity Golf Head Coach Organization :
Windermere Preparatory School is located on a beautiful 48-acre campus in Southwest Orange County. Windermere Preparatory School's academic approach is built on complex problem solving and critical thinking, emphasizes intellectual, personal, emotional and social growth, and culminates with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
Description :
Windermere Preparatory School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Boys' Junior Varsity Golf Coach to support the development of our golf program and student-athletes. The ideal candidate will help foster a positive team environment, teach golf fundamentals, and support player growth both on and off the course. This coach will be responsible for leading practices, supervising matches, and helping student-athletes develop skills, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Candidates with experience in independent school settings and coaching expertise in golf are preferred. This position reports to the Director of Athletics and works collaboratively with the Head Varsity Golf Coach.
Responsibilities :
Organize and supervise JV golf practices and matches. Teach golf fundamentals, course etiquette, and sportsmanship. Foster a positive and supportive team culture aligned with Windermere Prep values. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and the Athletics Department. Ensure compliance with school and FHSAA expectations
Qualifications :
Previous golf coaching or competitive playing experience is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to positively mentor and support high school student-athletes. Meets school and FHSAA coaching requirements.
