Boys Youth Lacrosse Coach

Job Summary Join our youth sports program as a Youth Lacrosse Coach, where you will inspire and develop young athletes through engaging lacrosse training sessions and team activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness in a fun and energetic environment. 8:30AM - 3:30PM Responsibilities Lead and organize youth boys lacrosse practices, drills, and game-day activities that promote skill development and teamwork Teach fundamental lacrosse techniques, rules, and strategies to players of varying ages and skill levels Foster a positive team environment by encouraging sportsmanship, respect, and good behavior among participants Monitor player safety during all activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper equipment use Manage behavior management issues effectively to maintain a respectful and inclusive atmosphere Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding player progress and team updates Assist in planning special events or tournaments to enhance the youth sports experience Requirements Prior experience in playing the game of lacrosse, as well as sports coaching, teaching, or working with children in an active setting Knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and gameplay strategies; coaching certification is a plus Lifeguard experience or certifications are beneficial for safety awareness in physical activity environments Ability to demonstrate leadership while maintaining a lively and motivating coaching style Experience with childcare or working with students in educational or recreational settings

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
