Braider Maintenance Technician - On Site

Position Summary The Braider Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of braiding equipment to support production needs. Essential Functions Perform preventative maintenance on braider machines, including oiling, greasing, and routine inspections Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure proper machine operation and minimize downtime Repair and rebuild braider equipment including replacement of mechanical components Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all braider equipment Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues before they impact production Maintain inventory of necessary lubricants, parts, and supplies required for ongoing maintenance Communicate effectively with supervisors and production personnel regarding equipment status and repair needs Safely operate tools and equipment necessary to complete maintenance and repair tasks Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and understand basic mechanical diagrams, manuals, or instructions Ability to record and document data appropriately Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, oils, and lubricants Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with company standards Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend at the knees and at waist level, twist, stoop, crouch, reach with a singular or both arms/hands above shoulder level, and at shoulder level, perform repetitive arm/hand movements and grasp singular or with both hands frequently Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 80 lbs. occasionally Ability to climb occasionally Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) is an essential function of this position.
