Job Title:
Fabricator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team in the Fabrication Department, where you will work with a variety of agricultural and custom metal products. You will have the opportunity to work in a brand new facility, increasing production and efficiency. Your ability to seamlessly transition between departments will be highly beneficial. Responsibilities Assist the main operator with loading and unloading parts, ensuring machines remain operational. Operate various machinery including the press brake, laser, drill, saw, and CNCs. Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring a full understanding of symmetrical tolerances. Perform quality checks on fabricated materials and ensure the product is correctly placed. Set machines according to the material and product specifications. Exhibit safety-conscious behavior and maintain excellent attendance. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year of experience in press brake, laser, saw, plasma, or other CNC production. Proficient in operating fabrication equipment such as bandsaw, press brake, and overhead crane. Ability to read blueprints and understand measurement equipment. Capability to lift over 50 lbs regularly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with industrial and sheet metal work. Familiarity with machine operation and general labor in a machine shop environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a collaborative setting with one other operator primarily, with opportunities to assist in other departments. Standard working hours are 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with weekly overtime. Steel-toed boots are required for safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
