As the Market President, you will have the chance to lead a small team of talented bankers, while playing a key role in driving the success of our client company. Generous salary and benefit package. This bank pays more on the base and has reasonable bonuses and an exceptional retirement plan.

• Yearly bonuses for all employees of up to 50% of one month's salary.
• Loan Officers also qualify for up to another 10% of annual salary.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to increase loan origination and deposits within the assigned market
• Oversee and manage the performance of loan officers and other staff members
• Foster strong relationships with key clients and referral partners
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Help with current and future growth and expansion needs

Essential Job Functions:

• Originate retail and commercial loans, meeting, or exceeding sales targets
• Provide guidance and support to loan officers, assisting them in closing complex loan transactions
• Collaborate with credit and underwriting teams to ensure timely and accurate loan processing
• Conduct market analysis and identify areas for business expansion
• Represent the bank in various community and industry events Must Have Skills and Experience
• 10+ years of experience in originating commercial real estate and commercial and industrial loans in a banking setting in the region mentioned
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (though this isn't a churn and burn company, not publicly traded)
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations
• Ability to write and defend loan memos, etc.
