Hours:
7am-3:30pm We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a full-time, on-site role in North Prairie, WI. This position involves operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision components according to specifications, while also supporting bench work, assembly, and general production tasks. This associate to hire role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who is comfortable with a mix of machining, hands-on assembly, and production support. CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Operate CNC and manual milling machines to produce precision parts
  • Work primarily on HAAS VM mold milling machines with some Milltronics equipment
  • Perform benching, fitting, and assembly work (significant portion of the role)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Ensure quality control and accurate measurement of finished parts
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Support long production runs with flexibility outside of machine operation
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
  • Use PowerShape and PowerMill in CNC programming workflows (as applicable)
CNC Machinist Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional technical training or certifications preferred
  • Experience operating CNC and manual machining equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong skills in precision measurement and quality control
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in molds, patterns, or basic molding concepts preferred
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Majority of machining work consists of longer production runs
  • Machining represents approximately 20-40% of the role
  • Flexible and not restricted to machine
