Bridge Laborer

MacArthur Construction, Inc. is seeking a hardworking and reliable laborer to join our bridge crew. This position involves a variety of physical and skilled tasks related to bridge construction and maintenance. The ideal candidate is experienced in general labor, comfortable working outdoors, and capable of handling physically demanding work.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform excavation and general labor duties, including shoveling and site preparation Assist with bridge construction and repair projects Perform heavy lifting and manual material handling Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively Support carpentry tasks such as formwork, framing, and structural assembly Assist with concrete work including pouring, finishing, and curing Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors

Qualifications:

Experience as an excavation laborer or in general construction labor Proficiency with hand and power tools Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and strenuous tasks Ability to work around heights Strong work ethic and reliability Preferred (but not required): Bridge construction experience Concrete work experience Carpentry skills

Outdoor construction environment in varying weather conditions Typical construction season runs from April 1 through mid-

December Pay:

$35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
