Job Description

Job Summary BK Field Operations LLC is a TxDOT contractor that focuses on highway maintenance and bridge preventative maintenance. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager / Field Supervisor to oversee bridge preventative maintenance operations for Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) projects. This role is responsible for managing daily field activities on site, ensuring contract compliance, coordinating crews, maintaining project schedules, and upholding BKFO's quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary connection between field operations, office administration, subcontractors, vendors, and TxDOT representatives. Duties Supervise and coordinate preventative maintenance activities for bridge structures, including inspections, repairs, and routine servicing. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely upkeep of all bridge components. Lead a team of technicians and maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to uphold safety standards; respond promptly to emergency repair needs or incidents. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs; prepare reports for management review. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols related to the job, industrial equipment, and working at heights. Skills Proven management experience leading maintenance teams in industrial or manufacturing settings. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement efforts. Fluency in English and spanish for clear communication across teams. Serve as primary liaison with TxDOT representatives and inspectors Review, verify, and submit Daily Work Reports (DWRs) for accuracy Ensure all required project documentation is maintained and submitted on time Coordinate work authorizations, reporting, and billing support Maintain compliance with all state, local, and contract requirements
