(Special Transportation Service). The ridership consists of Broward County elderly and the disabled who are unable to utilize Metrobus. Transportation America / STS hiring criteria: Must be available to work 7 days of the week and 12 hours per shift (as needed) Clean criminal background No more than 3 points on a valid Florida driver's license Valid driver's license for at least 3 years Working knowledge of the English language Valid Broward County Hack License Moderate geographical knowledge of Broward County Must pass a drug and alcohol analysis Some lifting required (35 lbs. or less) Minimum of 6 months of Commercial driving experience is preferable Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Chauffeur Apprenticeship program is available, please inquire with hiring personnel.
