Plan and administer appropriate treatment to minimize patient disability following disease or injury. Record, maintain, and report patient progress to relevant stakeholders. Educate patient and family members about communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment. Stay current with new techniques and technologies in speech therapy.
