KRE Security, LLC $23.00/Hour | Armed School Security Officer | Monday-Friday Daylight Schedule KRE Security, LLC is seeking reliable, consistent, and high-caliber Armed School Security Officers for a school district in Duncannon, PA. This position provides coverage across three separate school buildings and offers a stable weekday schedule, long-term placement, and year-round earning opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced armed security professionals, veterans, retired law enforcement, or individuals seeking a professional school security environment with steady hours and no overnight shifts.

Position Details Starting pay:

$23.00 per hour Monday-Friday schedule 8.5-hour daylight shifts No overnight shifts Position starts in September Coverage across three school buildings Overtime opportunities available for sports, extracurricular activities, and school events Full-time school-year placement with additional summer and per diem opportunities available when school is out Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure school environment Conduct patrols of school property and grounds Respond to emergencies and security incidents Monitor entrances, visitors, and access control Build positive working relationships with school staff and administration Complete reports and required documentation professionally Coordinate with school officials and emergency responders when necessary What We're Looking For We are looking for dependable professionals who: Show up consistently and take pride in their work Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Communicate effectively with staff, students, and visitors Can work independently and make sound decisions Understand the importance of protecting schools and communities Qualifications Act 235 Certification preferred or ability to obtain Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security experience preferred Veterans and prior law enforcement strongly encouraged to apply Clean criminal background and ability to pass required screenings Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Employee contribution approximately $45 per paycheck PTO accrual begins after 60-day probationary period Pay increases available with contract renewals Military differential available Opportunities for additional assignments and summer work Join a team committed to protecting students and schools while offering stable hours, long-term placement, and consistent earning opportunities throughout the year.
