Full Job Description Bucket Truck Technician Landover, MD Pay:

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Job Description:

A successful commercial lightning/electrical company based out of the Landover, MD area is actively searching for a Bucket Truck Technician to join their team. This company specializes in exterior lighting maintenance/general electrical service/LED conversions/sign maintenance. Ideal technicians must be experienced in commercial lighting or sign installation.

Job Details:

Commercial lighting repairs (Parking Lot lighting/exterior/interior) Must be able to or willing to learn to work on all LED/neon/Fluorescent systems typical to signage lighting. Signage installation experience is a plus. Trouble shooting lighting control systems and components such as time clock, contractors, and relays. Install basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Class B CDL w/air brakes is a must - or willing to get endorsed immediately. Bucket truck/Aerial equipment experience is a must. Commercial electrical/lighting experience is a must. Experience in the sign trade is a plus. High School diploma or GED required. Must successfully pass a background check Reliable Transportation with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must have a professional/friendly/positive attitude.

Physical Abilities:

Lifts at least 50 pounds at one time and 25 pounds for an extended period of time. Relocates a stepladder without assistance. Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders. Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
