Title:
Budget Analyst / Mission Resource Advisor KBR is seeking a Budget Analyst / Mission Resource Advisor to supportHQ STARCOM S4/6
at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.Key Responsibilities:
Provide yearly financial execution support toHQ STARCOM S4/6.
Inform decisions based on technical feasibility as well as financial and program performance. Draft / review execution plans, provide financial reports, and process/review purchase requests within DEAMS. Provide financial analysis for current year and future year budgets. Brief Customers on funds execution, obligations/ expenditures. Coordinate with stakeholders on funds execution, obligations/expenditures and CCaRS reconciliation. Support data entry into and analysis of data generated by CCaRS. Execute support in accordance with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) protocols and standards. ConductHQ STARCOM
funding and programming actions. SupportHQ STARCOM
corporate processes, POM/UFR working groups and data calls. Conduct Future Year Defense Program (FYDP) budget reviews and identify mission requirements. Draft, track, and reconcile funding documents (e.g., AF Form 9, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests). Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.Qualifications:
Required:
An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain. 5+ years of Budget Analyst, Resource Advisor (or equivalent) experience at the MAJCOM, Wing, or Squadron level. Familiarity with fiscal resource and processes management tools including Automated Budget Interactive Data Environment System (ABIDES), Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRS), Financial Management Suite (FM Suite), Commander's Resource Integrated System (CRIS), Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management (DEAMS), and Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DARQ) software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a SCIF.Desired:
BA/BS degree (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute). Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, SpOC, STARCOM or equivalent. Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions. Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations. Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment. Accustomed to professionally working with internal / external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.Work Environment:
