Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, educating clients about our products, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our dispensary. Your expertise will help customers make informed decisions about their purchases while enhancing their overall experience. Duties Assist customers in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs and preferences. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on the effects and benefits of various strains and products. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise through effective merchandising techniques. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering practices. Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability. Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits and features to customers. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Uphold high standards of customer service, including phone etiquette for inquiries and orders. Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing and transaction processing. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required, preferably in a grocery store or cannabis dispensary setting. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. Supervising experience is a plus, as it will contribute to team leadership within the dispensary. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with a diverse customer base. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience with product demos, merchandising, stocking, retail math, and sales will be beneficial in this role.
