Budtenders serve as the face of our store and play a critical role in delivering a safe, welcoming, and educational retail experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, comfortable educating consumers about cannabis products, and committed to maintaining strict compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations. Compensation Competitive hourly wages based on experience. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming retail environment for all customers. Verify valid government-issued identification and ensure all customers meet Massachusetts legal age requirements (21+). Educate customers on cannabis products including flower, vapes, pre-rolls, and accessories while remaining compliant with Massachusetts regulations regarding product information and claims. Accurately process retail transactions using the point-of-sale system and follow all cash-handling procedures. Maintain compliance with all Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations and company policies. Assist with inventory management, product restocking, and maintaining accurate product displays. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment. Support store operations including opening and closing procedures. Participate in required training and maintain knowledge of cannabis products, safety practices, and state regulations. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age . Ability to pass all required Massachusetts cannabis industry background checks and comply with Cannabis Control Commission regulations. Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Compliance Requirements All employees must comply with applicable Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of any required background checks and training.
