Title of Position:
Building & Construction Project Manager Position Overview:
As a Building and Construction Project Manager, you are responsible for management and oversight of all building related expansion, renovation, and new construction projects, supporting strategic growth, organizational initiatives, and operational efficiency. This role also provides strategic leadership, management oversight, and functional accountability for space and occupancy planning, utilization, and governance activities across all owned and leased facilities. Manages vendors and staff resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining consistent quality and up-to-date construction standards. Assists and supports all aspects of Internal Operations initiatives, on-going goals, and objectives.
Position Type:
Full-Time | Standard weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Compensation Range:
$65,000 - $90,000 annually, with final offer based on relevant construction/project management experience, education, certifications, and market factors.
Location:
Based at our Headquarters in Endwell, NY (3301 Country Club Rd, Endwell, NY 13760), with the opportunity to support projects that make a direct impact across our local branch network and community footprint. What You'll Do:
Lead assigned construction and facilities projects from planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication. Keep projects on track by proactively managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and costs while maintaining strong quality and safety standards. Partner with internal leaders, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to move projects forward efficiently and resolve issues quickly. Review contracts, change orders, and project-related documentation to ensure compliance with policy, legal requirements, and business expectations. Monitor project budgets and provide clear status updates on milestones, spending, risks, and overall progress to leadership. Support contractor and vendor selection, due diligence, relationship management, and performance oversight. Balance workloads, scheduling, and available resources to maintain strong project execution and operational coverage. Share technical guidance and project insight with internal teams and contribute to process improvements and post-project reviews. Help foster an inclusive, collaborative, and service-focused culture that aligns with Visions' mission and values. Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational priorities and long-term success.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in construction administration, construction management, or a related field; comparable directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 1-3 years of experience overseeing building construction, renovation, or improvement projects. 1-3 years of leadership experience, including managing staff, contractors, or project teams. CAPM certification required, or the ability to obtain it within 1 year of hire or promotion. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using standard business technology and office equipment. Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and maintain strong attention to detail.
