Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm (flexible hours) with on-call rotation

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire About This Opportunity Atlas Staffing has partnered with a local airport to hire a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This role supports the maintenance of critical airport infrastructure, helping ensure facilities, equipment, and daily operations run safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, HVAC, and equipment Complete basic carpentry, electrical repairs, and infrastructure maintenance (painting, hardware fixes, etc.) Maintain grounds (mowing, trimming, weeding, planting) Assist with facility projects including moving, remodeling, and equipment installation Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and documentation Pick up parts and supplies from local vendors as needed Communicate maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational updates Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 6+ Months of facilities or industrial maintenance experience General knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC troubleshooting Ability to read technical documents and write routine reports Valid driver's license with clean driving record Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (1 week/month) Preferred Qualifications HVAC certification or trade training Minnesota Class C Boiler License (preferred, not required) Basic math skills (algebra, geometry, measurements) Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and lifting Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Requires manual dexterity, balance, and full range of motion Vision abilities include close, distance, and depth perception Benefits & Perks Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans PPO and high-deductible health plan options Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and paid holidays Life and AD&D insurance Employee Assistance Program (including family counseling) Fitness incentives and wellness programs Free standby and discounted travel privileges for employees, family, and friends
