The Bus Person / Assistant Server supports the service team by ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment that enhances the overall guest experience.
Position Summary:
The Bus Person / Assistant Server plays a key role in supporting servers and maintaining smooth front-of-house operations. This position ensures that tables are properly set, cleared, and reset quickly, while assisting with food delivery and guest needs. The role is essential in delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience. Team members are expected to embody

Service Support Duties Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly and efficiently Assist servers with food and beverage delivery as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms Refill water, bread, and other table items as directed Stock service stations with necessary supplies (silverware, glassware, linens, etc.) Assist in polishing glassware, silverware, and plates Support opening and closing side work duties Respond promptly to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner Collaborate with servers, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure smooth service Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Other duties as assigned
ExperienceEducation:
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly during service Ability to perform repetitive motions such as lifting and carrying
