Business Analyst

R1 is seeking a •Business Analyst (Epic-focused)•to support large hospital clients through data-driven reporting, analysis, and insights. This is a newly created role due to growth with key clients and will play a hands-on role in running reports, analyzing trends, and responding to ad hoc client requests. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, experienced working with Epic data in a hospital or revenue cycle environment, and comfortable working directly with client-facing delivery teams. Here's what you will expect working as a •Business Analyst•: + Prepare complex deliverables in Excel spreadsheets in a consistent and reusable format. + Complete target-to-source mappings, supporting the development of data pipelines. + Perform data validation, reconciliation, and QA to ensure accuracy and consistency. + Translate raw data into clear insights for internal teams and, over time, assist with client-facing presentations. + Partner with delivery teams to troubleshoot data, process, or system-related issues. + Respond to ad hoc client requests requiring quick analysis and clear communication. + Meet routine deadlines while managing multiple reporting priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of business ethics and conduct. Required Skills + 2+ years of experience in an analytics or reporting-focused role + Hands-on experience with Epic (required) in a hospital or revenue cycle environment + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions + Experience working with healthcare or hospital clients, with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly + Proven ability to independently run reports, analyze trends, and drive work forward For this US-based position, the base pay range is $49,126.27 - $81,225.49 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
