Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Data Analyst to join our team at Pursuit Aerospace. The Business Data Analyst supports the enterprise Transformation Office through the evaluation of data for trends and opportunities, with the ability to distill significant amounts of data into translatable visualizations & reports. Opportunities to support special projects, administration of centralized tools & project management of initiatives will be available based on skill, experience and demonstrated competency. The ideal candidate will have proven capability to leverage data in the manufacturing industry to support and/or drive strategic initiatives with proven results across multiple business functions. This candidate should view the organization as their customer and strive to support their needs to enable the successful deployment and implementation of organizational projects.
Location:
This position is based in Manchester, CT with the potential for hybrid work.
Responsibilities:
Support existing initiatives through the financial analysis of forecasts vs. targets Assess business data to identify trends and opportunities, enabling workstream leads to launch new data-based initiatives to drive organizational improvement Support the administration, development and deployment of organizational dashboards; providing clear and relatable visualizations to project teams Collaborate with project team members to provide training, brainstorm concepts and develop improved data sources
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in a related field; Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, etc. At least 3 years of experience in site level analysis and/or management of financial data within the manufacturing industry (forecasts, actuals, budgets, etc.) Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to
ITAR/EAR
regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Powerpoint Experience and competency with data integration and analytics tools (i.e. Qlik, PowerBi, etc.), inclusive of the creation of dashboards and visualizations Working Conditions Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
