Description Summary:

Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Business Analyst to be part of a Scrum team supporting our Dynamics 365 Finance system. Together with a Product Owner and the team, the Business Analyst will drive user value to line-of-business applications as part of a continual digital transformation. This position will require after-hours support during deployments and for critical issue resolution.

IT Manager, Accounting Applications Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations in the role of functional finance consultant, business analyst, or solution architect, with a focus on Finance-related modules. Experience as a system end-user may also be considered.
• Strong understanding of Scrum framework, knowledge of accounting and finance principles, and ability to quickly grasp new business processes
• Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues and determine the best solutions for business needs
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Use of ALM and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira, Rally, etc.
• Expertise in the following areas of Dynamics 365

Finance and Operations:

o General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Data Management, Security o Reporting (SSRS reports, Business Performance Analytics, Financial Reporting, data cubes, etc.)

• Experience with system configuration, designing customizations, and performing quality assurance testing for Dynamics 365 Finance
• Experience authoring design documents for customizations in Dynamics 365 Finance modules
• Commitment to mastering new Microsoft product offerings and designing for the future

• Collaborate with team members to design, test, and implement new customizations and system enhancements across Dynamics 365 Finance, with a focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, reporting, and data integration
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support and training
• Manage help desk tickets and incidents
• Elicit and write user stories that are clear, concise, and articulate user value
• Analyze broadly defined ideas from Product Owner and help decompose them into epics/features
• Champion product improvements from concept through implementation into ongoing maintenance
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Proactively identify business needs and opportunities for process improvements
• Engage with business users alongside Product Owner and team members to gather feedback
• Create support and process documentation for maintaining configuration, understanding system processes, and troubleshooting future issues
• Advise on potential system changes and enhancements
