Job Description

Description We are seeking a Business Analyst to drive data analysis and strategic planning for Amazon's Robotics Technical Services organization. In this role, you will support the Strategy and Planning team by analyzing data to proactively identify issues, creating meaningful metrics to measure operational effectiveness, and supporting business reviews with comprehensive analysis. This position offers the unique opportunity to have global impact across Amazon's network of robotics while helping influence strategy through data-driven insights and recommendations. You will be at the intersection of robotics operations and strategic planning, translating complex operational data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. Your analytical skills will help identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement across the technical service organization, ensuring that our robotics support operations continue to evolve and optimize for maximum efficiency. Key job responsibilities
  • Create and maintain comprehensive data analysis frameworks that measure the effectiveness of Robotics Technical Services, proactively identifying trends, issues, and gaps in our support operations.
  • Drive the preparation and execution of major business reviews, defining required data points and translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to establish program health metrics that balance operational effectiveness with business impact across Amazon's global robotics network.
  • Develop and implement data-driven recommendations to improve processes, streamline operations, and eliminate excess procedures across the organization.
  • Communicate insights effectively through both written documentation and verbal presentations, influencing leadership decisions and driving actions based on your analysis.

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders Preferred Qualifications

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
