We are currently accepting applications for a Business Banking Service Specialist to join our team. This is an in-office role located at our Zions Bancorporation Technology Center in Midvale, UT. The ideal candidate for this role will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Manage the onboarding, enrollment, maintenance, and support of digital banking products and services, including but not limited to MPAs, Account Linkage, ACH, Bill Pay, and the Payments Package.
- Deliver internal and external client support and training via phone, email, and virtual channels, ensuring a high-quality service experience.
- Research and troubleshoot client digital banking service requests. Identify root causes of issues, resolve where possible, and escalate complex concerns appropriately.
- Meet established service level standards by completing timely follow-up and resolution of client inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and improve the overall client experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of consumer and business banking products, services, and operational procedures related to digital banking.
- Accurately document client interactions, requests, and service activities in accordance with policies.
- Implement client-requested updates or changes to existing services.
- Ensure compliance with fraud prevention, risk management, and regulatory requirements in all account setup and maintenance activities.
- Responsible for maintaining technical expertise and knowledge of online products and services as well as assist with identifying system and procedural improvements.
- Responsible for adhering to bank policy and regulations related to digital banking enrollment and online maintenance. Maintains documentation and records of customer information, inquires, complaints and services implemented.
- Maintain expertise in digital banking systems and contribute to identifying opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Provide client training on digital banking platforms and Payments Package as needed (phone or remote).
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including proper recordkeeping and documentation standards.
- Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School degree or equivalent and some experience with Digital Banking, Account Servicing or other directly related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Basic knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including all services available through digital banking - Bill Pay, ACH, Wires, Zelle, Internal and External Transfers, mRDC, etc. and their associated systems.
- Basic knowledge of business entity types and how to identify the Authorized Principals using a combination of documentation and online secretary of state filings.
- Good customer service and communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work with consumer and small business clients.
- Good research, analysis, and problem resolution skills.
- Sound judgement.
- Ability to work with various internal departments and staff.
- Working knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet software.
