Job Description

Join Riverfront Stamping where skilled professionals help power the industry forward. As a leader in precision metal stamping, machining, and laser fabrication, Riverfront Stamping relies on service-oriented professionals to support customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and help strengthen long-term growth. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-driven Business Development Coordinator to support business development efforts, customer communication, quoting activity, and market outreach. Business Development Coordinator The Business Development Coordinator will work closely with leadership, operations, engineering, estimating, and customer service to help identify opportunities, support existing customer relationships, and assist with the coordination of new and ongoing business initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, comfortable communicating with customers, and interested in supporting company growth within a manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, First Shift (must be willing to work additional hours as needed) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support business development efforts by identifying potential customers, target markets, and new opportunities within metal stamping, machining, fabrication, and related manufacturing industries. Assist with prospecting activities, including customer research, outreach preparation, follow-up communication, and maintaining lead information. Help coordinate communication between customers, leadership, estimating, engineering, operations, and customer service to support timely responses and clear expectations. Maintain and update customer information, opportunity tracking, quote follow-ups, and pipeline-related records. Assist with quote follow-up, customer inquiries, pricing communication, and internal status updates as needed. Support existing customer relationships by helping identify additional business opportunities, service needs, or follow-up items. Research industry trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and market opportunities to support business planning. Prepare reports, summaries, customer updates, and other business development materials for leadership review. Assist with scheduling and coordinating customer visits, plant tours, trade show preparation, and business development meetings. Help ensure customer requirements, expectations, and follow-up items are clearly communicated to the appropriate internal teams. Support marketing and sales-related efforts, including customer presentations, capability summaries, and company information packets. Maintain organized records of customer communication, leads, quotes, and business development activity. Represent the company professionally in customer interactions, vendor communication, and industry-related events. Contribute to overall company success by completing related duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in business development, sales coordination, customer service, account support, estimating support, or manufacturing administration preferred. Experience in metal stamping, machining, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial sales support is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable with follow-up, documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate customer or opportunity records. Ability to learn and understand manufacturing capabilities, customer requirements, quoting processes, and production-related terminology. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with ERP, CRM, or quoting systems preferred. Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling customer, pricing, and business information. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to support company growth initiatives. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and follow-through. Preferred Skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Manufacturing or industrial customer service experience. Familiarity with quoting, estimating, RFQs, customer prints, or production order flow. Ability to build positive working relationships with both internal teams and external customers. Strong written communication skills for customer follow-up, summaries, and internal updates. Interest in learning business development strategy, customer relationship management, and manufacturing sales processes. he pay range listed for this position reflects the base wage and is provided in compliance with Illinois law. Placement within the range is based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Incentive and bonus eligibility, if applicable, are separate and based on performance and company criteria.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
