Job Description

Company Overview Taza Construction LLC is a growing general contracting company specializing in residential, commercial, industrial, and government restoration projects throughout the Chicagoland area. Our expertise includes general contracting, renovations, construction management, flooring, warehouse operations, and large-scale project coordination. We pride ourselves on operational excellence, reliability, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee business operations, project coordination, client management, financial administration, and operational workflow across multiple active construction projects. This is a leadership-level position requiring prior experience within a general contracting or construction company environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day business operations and administrative functions of the company Work directly with ownership, project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth operational workflow Manage client relationships, meetings, project communication, and operational follow-ups Handle client invoicing, billing coordination, accounts tracking, and financial documentation Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for invoicing, financial management, reporting, and operational coordination Maintain and manage project documentation, contracts, submittals, change orders, and operational records through Procore Assist with project scheduling coordination, timelines, delivery tracking, and operational planning Coordinate with project managers to support ongoing construction projects and ensure deadlines are met Monitor operational efficiency and help implement systems and process improvements Support vendor management, subcontractor coordination, and material procurement processes Prepare operational reports, project updates, and management summaries Ensure organized documentation, compliance tracking, and administrative oversight across projects Assist leadership with business planning, operational strategy, and company growth initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business management or operations role within a construction company or general contracting environment Previous general contracting experience is required Strong Procore experience is required QuickBooks Desktop proficiency is required Experience handling construction invoicing, client billing, and project-related financial coordination Basic understanding of construction scheduling, project timelines, and operational workflow Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and client management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
