293383093 Job Description Trout Lake Abbey is hiring! Business Office Manager Trout Lake Abbey is a small retreat center in Trout Lake, WA. We are a welcoming, community-focused environment dedicated to creating a peaceful and supportive space for our team and guests. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Business Office Manager to oversee daily operations, financial management, and retreat coordination. This role is essential to keeping the Abbey running smoothly. Our work environment includes a collaborative team, regular communication, on-the-job training, and a supportive atmosphere.

Duties:

• Sell and coordinate retreats from initial inquiry through completion and follow-up
• Communicate with guests, partners, and vendors
• Manage daily operations and support staff with task direction
• Supervise and support housekeeping and outdoor team members
• Run payroll and ensure accurate time tracking
• Bookkeeping for business and personal accounts using QuickBooks
• Track income and expenses across multiple bank accounts
• Pay bills and manage vendor relationships
• Complete monthly reconciliations and financial reporting
• Prepare and assist with quarterly reports and filings
• Manage individual bookings, personal retreats, and events
• Maintain organized records, files, and office systems
• Assist owners with administrative and operational needs
• Participate in regular team and owner meetings
• Act in a kind and caring manner toward all people, beings, and the land
• Additional tasks as assigned to support the household and business operations
• Oversee farm operations, support as needed.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, full-time (schedule may vary based on operations)

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping preferred
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
• Leadership and team coordination experience
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be 18 years or older

Compensation:
