Job Description

Redwood Dental | Boutique Private Practice Are you the person who follows through when others let things slip through the cracks? Do you genuinely like helping people get to "yes" on decisions that are good for them? Are you energized by clean systems, clear numbers, and getting things done right the first time? If so, keep reading. We're a privately owned, technology-forward dental practice looking for a Business Team Member to own patient coordination, financial follow-through, and the back-office systems that keep a high-performing practice running. This is not a "answer the phones and smile" role. It's a role for someone who wants to own real outcomes (patients scheduled, treatment completed, claims paid, accounts current) and be measured on them. Learn more about who we are and the culture we're building: www.redwooddental.org What You'll Be Doing Patient Coordination & Follow-Through Following up with patients who have recommended treatment and helping them move forward with confidence Coordinating and maintaining a well filled, efficient schedule Communicating clearly with patients about appointments, financial options, and next steps Answering phones and serving as a calm, professional point of contact Insurance & Financial Operations Verifying insurance benefits and building accurate patient estimates Managing accounts receivable, claims follow-up, and resolving denials Coordinating patient financial arrangements and payment options Posting payments and reconciling accounts accurately Systems & Documentation Maintaining patient records and documentation with precision Tracking key numbers and contributing to weekly team reviews Partnering closely with the doctor and team to ensure a smooth patient experience end to end We're transparent: about half of this role is patient facing coordination and follow-up, and about half is the focused, detail-driven insurance and financial work that protects the practice. We're looking for someone who can genuinely be good at both, not someone who wants one and tolerates the other. Why You'll Love Working With Us Competitive base pay with achievable, performance based bonuses tied to outcomes you control Real ownership of measurable systems, where your work is visible and valued Personal and professional development built into the role A supportive, team-oriented environment where your input shapes how we operate A positive, upbeat workplace where mediocrity isn't the norm Benefits Kaiser medical insurance Free dental care at Redwood Dental Vision reimbursement 20 paid days off per year 401(k) with company match Profit sharing What We're Looking For 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or medical/dental office experience Strong follow-through.
