As our new Board Administrative Specialist, we know you will be successful in this role because you are: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with ease A skilled relationship builder who communicates professionally and effectively with executives, board members, donors, and staff Discreet and trustworthy , with a demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Tech-savvy and resourceful , comfortable working across systems such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and databases like Salesforce A proactive problem-solver who enjoys coordinating meetings, events, and complex logistics Energized by working behind the scenes to support meaningful leadership and conservation impact
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and execute logistics for Board of Directors meetings, committee meetings, retreats, and special events Prepare, organize, and distribute board materials through the board portal, ensuring timely and accurate access Support annual board processes, including tracking activities, preparing correspondence, and managing deadlines Maintain board records, directories, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with governance practices Provide exceptional support and customer service to board members, leadership, and donors while fostering strong working relationships
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
At least three or more years of related administrative experience with two or more years supporting board members, executives, or high-level donors. Successful applicants must live and work in Washington State to perform this role. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to speak a language in addition to English
