As a Volunteer Board of Directors Member, your leadership and strategic vision will help shape the future of our mission, which is as stated; "The Modern Cotillion Society cultivates confidence, social awareness and activism, and modern elegance in young women of all backgrounds, preparing them for college, professional environments and beyond." This unpaid role offers an opportunity to influence organizational direction, foster community engagement, and drive sustainable growth. As a member of the board, you will collaborate with our Executive Director to uphold our values, ensure effective day-to-day operations, and advance our strategic objectives. Duties Participate actively in board meetings, committees, and special projects to support organizational priorities. Assist in developing and reviewing long-term strategic plans, policies, and budgets to promote organizational sustainability. Leverage your expertise to optimize processes and enhance overall organizational efficiency. Engage in business development efforts by fostering partnerships, expanding networks, and identifying new opportunities for growth. Negotiate grants and funding that align with the organization's mission and enhance its impact.
