JOB SUMMARY
The Board Governance Manager will support the effective governance, operations, and strategic initiatives of the Board of Directors and its committees and commissions. This position serves as a liaison between the Board and committees, ensuring compliance with governance procedures, managing board-related projects, and promotes transparency to the membership. The role requires strong project management, organizational, communication, and administrative skills, along with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a confidential and professional environment.
COMPENSATION
: $41.06 hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. •Relevant Experience may substitute for degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years of experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with senior leaders, boards, or governing bodies. Five (5) years of experience working in an office environment. Five (5) years of experience working in project management. Five (5) years of experience working with Tribal Policies and Procedures. One (1) year of experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
SKILLS TESTING
Typing 35 wpm Correspondence
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
Must be an enrolled Tulalip Tribal Member. WA State Driver License. ( Personal Auto Insurance ) Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. ( Abstract Required ) Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
