Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Console Release Manager for a leading financial services organization. This role will drive the planning, coordination, and execution of complex, large-scale application releases across a highly integrated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in end-to-end release management, strong risk management capabilities, and the ability to align business priorities with technical delivery. This individual will serve as a central communication point across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring seamless coordination from development through production deployment. Success in this role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at navigating ambiguity, and consistently delivers high-quality release outcomes. Experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy, along with familiarity with ServiceNow and Agile practices, will be key in supporting ongoing transformation efforts within the organization
Day-to-Day:
  •  Provide release management support for OpEx and Automation Services
  •  Manage releases for Infrastructure Console and enterprise applications
  •  Define, plan, coordinate, communicate, and deliver end-to-end application releases
  •  Own all release lifecycle processes and SDLC artifacts
  •  Act as the primary liaison across business, engineering, QA, PMO, infrastructure, and production support
  •  Monitor release status, risks, dependencies, and issues
  •  Proactively identify, remediate, and escalate blockers
  •  Ensure all release activities are completed prior to production deployment
  •  Track and report release metrics to drive continuous improvement

  •  5+ years of overall IT experience aligned to project/delivery management
  •  5+ years of Release Management (or similar roles: Release Manager, Scrum Master, Program Manager, Portfolio Manager)
  •  Strong end-to-end change and release management experience
  •  Proven experience managing application releases across the full SDLC
  •  Ability to align business priorities with enterprise technology direction
  •  Strong experience with application risk management
  •  Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (BMC Remedy required)
  •  Proven success delivering large-scale enterprise application releases
  •  Strong analytical skills, including use of metrics to improve release quality
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •  Extremely detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
  •  Ability to work across a broad range of stakeholders (business, engineering, QA, PMO, infra)
  •  Experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum tools
  •  Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and resolving blockers independently
  •  Experience with ServiceNow (environment transitioning from Remedy)
  •  ITIL Certification
  •  Agile certifications (Scrum, LeSS, etc.)
  •  Experience with Confluence and broader Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  •  Bachelor's degree (Business, Information Systems, or related field)
  •  Technical depth/background (helpful but not required)
